The new Formula 1 season started with the Bahrain Grand Prix, which was won by Lewis Hamilton. It is easy to say that the Mercedes team is starting the season with fabulous race. They used good tactics and Lewis’s skills to the fullest potential and beat Max Verstappen from the Red Bull team into 2 nd place. Due to Verstappen being 2 nd , Hamilton’s teammate, Valtteri Botas, placed 3 rd . This competition is a step for Hamilton to win his 8 th world championship. I think Hamilton is a prodigy in the Formula 1 franchise. He has already beaten the record for most won world championships and he is still fighting for more. And also, I think that the Mercedes team is the best one he could get. They are doing their best to provide him with the best car possible and a good and fast pit stop service.

Recently in Florida, United States a lot of people are meeting at the streets of Mimi Beach. They are trashing and destroying restaurants and walking around without masks and not obeying the social distancing restrictions. In effect of the crowds getting out of hand, commissioners are holding an emergency meeting discussing weather they should imply a curfew. The officials even had to call in a SWAT team to break up the groups. They had to wear bulletproof vests and use pepper spray.   I agree with the police and officials that something has to be done. I understand that people want to party and have fun but there are certain boundaries including the ongoing pandemic. However, this might cause some more issues with the public and make the tourist situation worse. In a result of the last year pandemic people reconfigured their streets to make walking and cycling easier. They did that to help distance people and help to ease air pollution. ECF (European Cyclists’ Federation) spent 1 billion euro on Cycling measures including 1000km of cycling routes around the cities of Europe. Barcelona is just one of the cities involved in the project. Officials are construction 100 miles of new improved routes. In my opinion this is an amazing initiative. Cities are heading into the right direction making these decisions. I like that people are trying to decrease the amount of air pollution. Cycling is a very environmental efficient way to get around the city and also a good way to exercise. Which is a good thing nowadays because gyms and sport complexes are closing down one by one due to the pandemic. Due to the strongest cyclone in the southern hemisphere in 2016, Fiji lost a lot. A lot of damage was formed and the storm had a tragic impact on the coral reefs. After 4 years the reef managed to regrow and house a lot of beautiful fish. Even scientists and biologists were surprised and astonished about how fast it all happened.     In my opinion we should admire this magnificent event. It is not everyday that the world can witness a phenomenon like this. Also, I think that it is great that people managed to help the reef grow. I say so because we are losing a lot of natural beauties every year due to selfish tourists and firms. This will also help preserve a lot of exotic and endangered species of sea animals from dying out completely. The recover of this coral reef shows a promising future in my opinion and also proves that we can still save the environment.       

Shortly after 10 pm on Sunday night a meteor was spotted blazing across the skies of UK. Although it was only visible for a couple of seconds, security cameras and doorbell cameras managed to film it. The UK meteor network states that the meteor was a fireball. Meteors are space matter burning up as they enter the atmosphere and fireballs are particularly bright meteors. Fireballs can reach brightness levels the same as Venus. People described it as a giant firework because it burst into a massive tail of sparks. People think that it might be related to the recent mars landing. That it is not a meteor but some alien activity. I think that it was just a normal meteor. I doubt that it is some alien attack. It would be nice to experience this situation because it doesn’t happen very often.
