National Parks of the world - Hawaii Volcanoes

Image
Located 45 minutes from Hilo the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is home to some of the most active volcanoes of the world. One of the main reasons people visit the place is the chance of seeing an eruption happen. Consisting of 150 miles or 241 kilometers of trials it is a great place for hikers. The park was named a World Biosphere Site by UNESCO in 1980 and in 1987 was honored as a World Heritage Site. Located on the park’s premises is a Kilauea Visitor Center where you can acquire maps, advice and suggestions from park rangers. The most popular volcano is the Kilauea which is an extremely active volcano. The land around this natural wonder constantly changes from all the powerful natural forces. While visiting you should always remember to stay on marked trials because you don’t want to step in hot magma. sources: https://www.gohawaii.com/islands/hawaii-big-island/regions/kau/v olcanoes-national-park

Yellowstone is National Park located in the USA. Its territory is placed in the state of Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. It was established in 1874 and now is considered to be the first National Park on Earth. The variety of landscapes which include: valleys, mountains, forests and lakes is just breath taking. One of the most popular attraction is the Caldera volcano which releases geothermal energy and also the old faithful which is the most visited geyser in the world. Another great attraction is the massive variety of trials a tourist can pick or the Yellowstone lake located in the center of the park. Besides all the magnificent views the park is rich in wildlife. You can encounter bison, deer, bears, elk and a lot of birds and fish. Tourists can stay on camp sites located all over the park. In summary I think Yellowstone National Park is great place to separate yourself from the rest of the world and go back in time.         source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b...

National Parks of the World

The Serengeti National Park is 1.5 million hectares of Savannah located in Tanzania. What makes this park stand out is the enormous annual migration of beautiful animals (wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, black rhinoceros, wild dogs, elephants, cheetahs and much more) to the Masai Mara reserve in Kenya. The park is known to be the biggest Serengeti ecosystem, and it is absolutely intact, which means there are no fences or walls to stop the migration of animals. A threat to the park is that there is only one river flowing through the area (Mara). During dry seasons there is not enough surface water for all the animals. That is why there is a plan to extend the park to Lake Victoria. Another danger are hunters that kill the animals illegally. You can also find a rich landscape which consists of grassland plains, hills, forests and granite outcrops rising from the dirt.  -source: https://whc.unesco.org/en/list/156/ https://www.safaribookings.com/serengeti
